Mission Statement
Prism is a charity which provides a range of non-stigmatising, evidence-based alcohol and drug services for individuals and communities in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot and Powys. Services are based on the identification of need and are delivered through the deployment of paid staff, volunteers and joint work with other providers. Prism adopts a social learning framework for all of its work, utilising Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioural techniques to facilitate change.

Prism Aims:
to promote the non-use, or sensible use of alcohol
to promote the non-use of illicit drugs and the appropriate use of legal drugs
to provide effective help for those experiencing alcohol or drug related problems

Prism Believes:
clients have the ability to change
clients can work towards abstinence, reducing or controlling their drinking
clients can change to a safer pattern of alcohol use

Prism works in partnership with other relevant agencies to provide co-ordinated interventions for clients  All Criminal Justice Project and SUDDS clients work towards the cessation of illegal drug-use
